The Work-at-Home market is full of trash. You know this is true because you've been searching online for legitimate jobs, but you're only finding gimmicky programs that promise to make you rich. You've seen them. Lots of them: "Fill out forms and get paid!" "Make $1,000 per day or more doing data entry at home!" Maybe you even bought into some of them, only to realize you'd been had.
One way those fraudulent sites lie to you is in their use of the word "job." YOU think of a job as an arrangement in which you exchange your time and skill for an agreed-upon amount of money. THEY use "job" to mean work you'll do (after you pay them to show you how) for which you might or might not get paid. They know they're twisting the meaning of the word. They rely on your definition to get you to buy their program, and it's intentionally misleading. They're not going to help you get "jobs" at all.
We got tired of the lying online. We decided to write a book that would be different. We teach you how to find real jobs, not "business opportunities" or some other code word for online ventures that will cost you money rather than helping you get it.
We'll help you find jobs you can do at homeājobs for which you'll know exactly what work you'll be doing and how much you'll be paid to do it. You'll get real checks or direct deposits, not "points" or some other bonus you can't take to the grocery store. You'll have a real person you can talk to if you have problems. That's what a real job means, and you've always known it.
We teach you about the entire process of finding a telecommuting job, including resumes, where/how to find real jobs, and how to communicate with potential employers. No gimmicks. We'll simply show you how to use various online resources to find legitimate jobs.
