What to Charge Clients Part II

As promised, in addition to my advice on What to Charge Clients Part I, here are some helpful resources to turn to when deciding your own rates.

To make things easier, I’m putting the resources into different sections, based on the type of industry you may freelance in:

Writing

Check out the National Writers Union “Survey of Freelance and Contract Writer Rates” at http://www.nwu.org/nwu/index.php?cmd=showPage&page_id=1.3.14.2.4.
The report is from 1999, but it states to multiple the rates by 1.25 for 2007 standards.
