What do you do to vent?
It’s been a tough day. I’ll spare you the details, but let me just say it’s been a long, tiring, hectic day…and I’m still working. Mondays are definitely not my favorite. Not to mention, it poured rain out all day. Anyway, before I launch a pity party, I’ll use this time wisely and try to stop the negativity already! (After all, it was me who recommended The Secret!)
I was just curious if any of you are in my boat - working on the computer all day from home or the office, and just in need of a place to vent whatever may be on your mind - whether it be work-related, home-related, family-related or whatnot. Yeah, you could vent to your family or friends, but do they need to really hear it? They likely have problems of their own.
In order to stay consistent with the feel of the website (working from home) - I did a little research for some cool places for telecommuters to “hang out,” chat, vent, or whatever, and here is what I found:
WAHM (Work at home mom) Hangout - http://www.thewahmhangout.com/
Business Owners’ Idea Cafe - http://www.businessownersideacafe.com/business/you_in_biz.php
Home Based Working Moms (for dads, too) - http://www.hbwm.com/
Work at Home Parent’s Network - http://www.wahpnetwork.com/
The Creative Enterprises Network - http://www.creativethought.com/
Better yet, start your own blog or online diary just to get out your feelings as a work from homer, or simply someone who is on the computer a lot and could use a place to unwind while working.

That’s what I love about MySpace, you can journal there and no one ever sees it if you don’t want them to. Gotta have a place to vent. For sure… Great links!
I agree with you about MySpace! Thanks for your comment. :o)
