Welcome to Our New Site

I’d like to welcome everyone to the Daily Telecommuter! From now on, daily jobs and telecommuting news and information will be found here.

Why the change?

There were a number of reasons actually. SaveAndMake was a great resource for finding jobs, but it lacked a real work at home website type feel. The name wasn’t relevant and the design was ugly and in need of a desperate update. I figured it was time for a complete overhaul and here’s where we are today.

So, when are you going to start charging a fee?

The job lists that I post each morning and all of the information will always be free. That’s right. We are still your number one free resource for finding work at home jobs.

Any more big plans?

I think this move has caused me enough trouble for the time being. There is still a lot to do and move over, but the majority of the work has been completed. Aside from the move, I am working out a plan to offer ‘telecommuting career services.’ I can’t say much now, but hopefully I’ll be able to give more details in the near future.

To all email subscribers

If you liked receiving daily notifications when the site is updated, that feature has returned! I know there were a lot of people who randomly stopped receiving emails, but everything is fixed. For now, click here to subscribe to The Daily Telecommuter by Email. Updates will be sent each morning at 11AM EST to your email address.

Click her to see the latest jobs.

Finally, this move took me quite a long time to finally get in order. The least you can do is comment below and let me know what you think. Thanks!

  1. Hi!! Great new site! I got scared for a minute thinking your site was gone! You, by FAR, have the best telecommute work site out there. I am so grateful for all the opportunities you present us with.

    Keep up the great work!

  2. I kept thinking I was in the wrong place and then I decided to look and realized it is saveandmake. But not…I love it. You have gone through so many changes but this is the most dramatic.Nice job.

  3. Thanks! I’m going to make a note at the top of the page so everyone else will realize it’s SaveAndMake 2.0

  4. I have you in my favorites and I thought my computer was having a moment.

  5. Congratulations!

I’ve been stalking your site for some time now. :-)

You should be proud of the work you are doing.

    Thank you!

  6. Hi! I just came across SaveandMake yesterday, so I don’t have long term experience on the site for comparison, but I think this new site looks great. One question: Yesterday, I followed a link to a directory of various online jobs (I don’t remember the names), but there were about 10 categories. The one I was looking at was online teaching and it linked to a list of five online teaching companies/organizations. I can’t seem to figure out where you’ve moved that…. Is it up on the new site yet?

Thanks for doing this. It is a great resource….

  7. Hi! The site look great. I have been coming to saveandmake.com for quite sometime. I can see you put a lot of work into this new site and it has pay off. Are you going to have more office positions available on this website?

  8. It does look great, I’m a bit late to the commentary, but I can’t help but be intrigued, and I’ve been around for a few more changes too, lol. This is by far the best one. Hard work pays dividends when it looks this great.

  9. Hey, great new look. Congrats!

  10. I am fairly new to Save & Make and became highly encouraged to see all the new changes when I logged onto the site today. Daily Telecommuter is certainly a more applicable domain name especially now that SEO is readily gaining popularity. Honestly, the name Save & Make used to make me think of shopping for coupons….lol

    Great Job Steve!

  11. Hi Steve,

I’ve been snooping around your site for a couple of weeks now.
I’ve sent the URL to my wife, and several friends, who now check it daily.

They haven’t found “the” job, yet, but if they are to find it, I’m sure it will be via The Daily Telecommute.

You are doing really good work here.

In the future you should have reviews of the potential jobs offered through the various “Work at Home” employers and recrutement websites. I’d like to see good job descriptions, actual monies earned, etc. from some of these companies.

There are those of us out here looking for legitimate work, and it sucks having to wade through all the scams to find it.

You are doing us a great service with your website.
    Keep up the good work!

    Dan

  12. Awesome!
    Great improvement.
You told me it would be worth the wait! IT IS!

    Thanks for all you do!

    Jake

  13. Have been checking out your site for a while now…think I saw it on a blog I read called The Drunken Pumpkin, but not sure….Anywho…it looks great.

  14. Recommend changing the “So, when are you going to start charging a fee?” header to something else — even suggesting there will be a fee will turn off many who do not read the answer that things will remain free.

  15. I’m new, so maybe I’m doing something wrong, but Today’s Jobs don’t link to anything but “back to craigslist homepage.” What’s up?

  16. The jobs listed here were from back in July. I’ve since changed this post to reflect the latest jobs. Thanks.
