Take the Initiative. Post a Resume at HotJobs.
No success finding that perfect telecommuting job, yet? I didn’t think so. I’ll admit that it’s an extremely challenging and competitive market. After all, who wouldn’t want to work from home? The Daily Telecommuter is a great place to get your job fill, but this site absolutely should not be your only resource. Another alternate resource you should use in your search is Yahoo’s HotJobs.
Job Listings
HotJobs is a great place to do a daily search for telecommuting jobs. A major advantage of using HotJobs over craigslist, is that Yahoo charges a fee for every job posted. While this does help weed out the scams, but the occasional rip-off ad does pop through. To help weed out the remaining scams, do an advanced search for the phrase ‘telecommuting jobs’ and be sure to select only jobs posted in the last 24 hours and those posted by direct employers and NOT staffing firms. This search will yield you the best results.
Post a Resume
Posting your resume at HotJobs will allow you to passively find work opportunities. HotJobs gives employers the power to search for specific keywords in applicants resumes and contact them directly instead of going through the purchasing of an ad. Simply updating and posting your resume at HotJobs can put you in contact with employers looking for telecommuting employees.
Spend the next 15-20 minutes now uploading your resume to HotJobs. It can make all the difference in your job search.
