So many people left in the dark…

As with most holidays in my family, I got together with relatives I had not seen in quite some time. Our family is really growing, with the addition of new babies, marriages, etc. Before we sat down for Thanksgiving dinner, I got to talking to my cousins who have both just had babies. We got to talking about work stuff, and of course I mentioned my business, and my position as the new blogger for DT. My family is always particularly amazed with me as I managed to have my baby and leave my full-time position in order to work from home, for myself. Twenty months later, my business is thriving, and I have many freelance writing projects that keep me really busy. (But not too busy to take precious time away from my family.)

“How do you do it,” my cousin asked me. She is a mom of two, and after her four-month maternity leave is gearing up to return to work after Christmas. She really doesn’t want to. She wants to be home with her children. Hence, my plug of this website came up. I explained what DailyTelecommuter.com is all about, and how unlike so many other “work at home” sources out there, this one is fully legitimate and presents jobs in all different fields. Best of all, it doesn’t ask people for any money to access this highly valuable information.

There are just too many people who are left in the dark when it comes to the amazing world of telecommuting. No, you don’t have to stuff envelopes or sell beauty products or engage in some multi-level marketing scheme in order to make money working from home. There are sooooo many other work from home opportunities out there - opportunities for people just like my cousin, who are smart, educated, and have tons of experience.

If you visit this website often, you will soon see for yourself all of the work out there that enables one to work from home. In addition, I strongly encourage you to check out the “The Complete I’ve Tried That Guide to Telecommuting”

The book was written in order to help those who long to work from home to get an actual, well-paying telecommuting job. As explained in my earlier post on this, the book also offers valuable advice on perfecting your resume, contacting employers, and hundreds of tips on what you need to be successful in the telecommuting industry.

Now that I’ve told my cousin about this website and the book, she is totally on board with opening up to and learning more about the world of telecommuting. I was astounded by all of my relatives at Thanksgiving dinner who associate working from home with scam jobs. Sure, there are plenty, but there are also plenty of legitimate, well paying jobs out there that are just waiting to be discovered.

So stay tuned, keep visiting this website, and get your own copy of “The Complete I’ve Tried That Guide to Telecommuting”.
