Avoid Getting Scammed: Medical Billing Positions

Thanks to Undress4Success.com, I am glad to be able to share this information with you on avoiding some of the latest work from home scams out there. If I can save just one person from getting ripped off, I will have done my job!

Medical billing. It’s a field that has attracted a great number of scams. If you are interested in obtaining a work from home medical billing position, be especially cautious of job ads that promise easy money with little or no effort.

There are many complex laws involved with medical billing – all of which you should learn about before spending your money on any kind of training. Up to a full year of training is often necessary to begin to market your medical billing services to healthcare providers.

Just a few years ago, the Federal Trade Commission scoured the Internet and newspaper ads looking for submissions that promised consumers a fast, quick way to make money running their own medical businesses from home. In their search they found the following companies to be non-legit, pitching medical billing products with false promises and inaccurate representations:

• Electronic Processing Services, Inc.
• International Trader, d/b/a Premier Business Solutions
• Medical-Billing.com, Inc., d/b/a Professional Management Consultants
• Electronic Medical Billing, Inc.
• Physicians Healthcare Development (PHD Billing), Inc.

If you are searching for a medical billing work from home opportunity, research the field thoroughly and avoid any of the above companies, as well as other companies who may offer pitches promising you money for little or no work from home.
