This week, they advert Partnering w/Paul on their website as a trusted marketer having jobs to offer their marketeers!! And she stops, right in her tracks. She KNOWS that name.. but... where?? Aha! Ivetriedthat-yessss. After heady realization engages over spotting a total 'snarkey' in the waters, A works up an intellectually worded 'you nearly got me you bitch' nastygram; which is our forte' after all. Below, for any entertainment value you derive, is my nastygram: I was going to join shadowshopper any day--become a gold member even. I've got 5 mornings/week to kill in the 28277 zip and; if your endless emails are to be believed, there are umptie-lumpteen jobs screaming for workers in my zip. Now, after noting you are supporting/abetting none other than the current dispic-arama Partnering w/Paul, I'm sure I don't want to know you. The following is a clip from www.Ivetriedthat.com, run by two guys who check out scams and report back to all who care to view their website for....nada. Below is a note by a blogger/marketeer who's 'tried' Herballife/Partnering with Paul. ".... I’m worse….I did sign up for herbalife and got screwed! So let’s count….. $9.95 – package, 39.95 to keep it, $149 to sign up, $88 in product, $118 in product ordered that I did not request (this is full price by the way), $20 for the on line traning………So that’s about $425 that I didn’t have in the 1st place. My husband was laid off in Jan 2009 – still not working, I was laid off in June 2009. So obviously I didn’t have a lot of money to throw at this thing. Once my sponsor found that out I shoved to the back corner. Also, I tried taking the products – I can’t handle them….I have a heart condition and they affect my heart. I tried to explain this to my sponsor and she gets all rude. I asked to return the products and shes mouthing off to me how I’m negative and if I REALLY have a heart problem I should take them. Honestly! Like I don’t know how to take care of my condition! On top of all that – my mail was stolen from my mailbox which had my completed application in it – no according to herbalife I don’t exist as a distributor because they don’t have a hard copy – and to get another app is another $50! So Yes, stay away! Anytime you hea(r)d the word ‘Parner with Paul, or Herbalife’ run the other way – hang up the phone, delete the email, etc." This alliance you've chosen to facilitate with Partnering with Paul proves to me at least someone or many ones at shadowshopper lack the minimum due diligence needed to protect its shoppers/workers who sign up with your service. I'm a member of that survey panel. I haven't cashed out yet so I didn't get one of the phony checks, but I remember getting a general email from them about two weeks ago. They said that phony checks had been sent in their name and that people cashing them were - rightfully - complaining that they'd been scammed. The email went on to warn against accepting any checks for a while. So they are aware of the problem, but basically, their info was stolen and used by scammers. Kind of like scammers calling and claiming to be from your utility, phone company, etc, asking for your credit card for a payment. If something looks genuine, we don't generally look too closely - but from now on I'm checking everything with a fine-tooth comb. I've written about the HerbLife scam on Associated Content, and I never stop getting comments from folks who say I'm crazy to bad-mouth HerbaLife, that HerbaLife is the greatest and makes money for those who are willing to work at it, etc. Many folks assume I'm a disgruntled ex-distributor, but I never got involved with the "business", thank God. Prepare for a lot of hate mail (or is that love mail?) from people (distributors) of HerbaLife. I thought I had done sufficient due diligence - made contact with other customers who all seemed happy, they were eBay powersellers with excellent feedback, and I rang them and spoke with the company owner as well as the trainer several times before taking the plunge. Things seemed to go well for a week or so, until excuses started to come via email as to why I had no training that week, and before long contact had all but stopped, despite me emailing several times a week. Then I was contacted to say there had been illnesses, etc along with sincere apologies. Again, all good for a week or so then it all turned haywire. Even one of the trainers started having troubles, and weeks turned into months. I asked to exercise my money-back guarantee and no response. Eventually even the sites came down and my trainer then informed me that the company was under investigation and all sites were now shut down. The worst part of it? By the time the NZ dollar converted to UK, it cost me almost $10K. Very expensive learning curve indeed! Still to this day, not so much as an email explaining the situation, and I'm guessing no chance of ever seeing my money again.
