In my last post, I told you of a way to make money with email that doesn’t involve spam and doesn’t involve getting paid pennies per email you view.
Instead, if you’re curious about making money using email, you should learn about email marketing. I introduced it in my last post and gave a brief outline of the process. Now I’ll give you a couple more details and show you where you can get some more information.
First, let me make it clear that email marketing is not for beginners. It is for people who are already doing some affiliate marketing, such as what you are taught in Niche Blitzkrieg and Wealthy Affiliate. But if you are brand new to the game of making money online, I don’t recommend you try email marketing just yet.
However, if you have a blog or other Web site(s) and you want to see your income go up, email marketing is a must. It allows you to collect email addresses of people who are interested in what you have to say or offer. As a result, when you send quality information and recommendations to them, your conversion rate is much higher than it would be with “normal” traffic.
How do you collect email addresses?
You sign up for a subscription to an autoresponder, which is software that handles all the mailing tasks. Then you put some code on your blog or Web site that asks your visitors to sign up for your newsletter or mailing list or whatever you call it. They put in their addresses and the autoresponder adds them to the list.
How do you get them to sign up?
Usually by offering a free product or some other incentive. Some people run contests or giveaways.
What do you send to your list?
This is very important. You must send high-quality, highly relevant information. To do otherwise would be a betrayal of trust and you will not be successful as an email marketer.
