Google Treasure Chest + Google Money Tree = JAIL

This just in: Google Money Tree and Google Treasure Chest are the same shadiness, run by the same people.

Our Google Treasure Chest post has been a happenin’ place for comments lately. A lot of people are coming forward with their stories…helping each other cancel and get refunds…commiserating. It’s a beautiful thing to see.

We wrote a post last week about how the Texas attorney general has filed charges against “Infusion Media,” which owns Google Money Tree. One of the commenters on the Google Treasure Chest thread linked to the original complaint, which answers the question many people have been asking:

Are Google Money Tree and Google Treasure Chest run by the same people?

It appears the answer is yes. If you care to read the official court document, you’ll see that googletreasurechest.com and googlemoneytree.com are both named in the action. It also names the dude who apparently runs the thing. And he lives a stone’s throw from my office. How weird is that??

So the “Jail” in the title might be a little premature. Innocent until proven guilty and all. But we can hope, right?

well randi the first thing you have to do is let your bank know and cancel your debit or credit card that way if they try to charged you again using the same card they won’t be able to do it, then as soon as you can call the customer service nu mber to cancel the account you sign for “whe you order the stupid cd” after that they shuold give you a confirmation number make sure you ask for a confirmation number and the name of the person who helped you FULL NAME in case they failed to refund the money you can take further steps well that’s what i’m gonna do right now after i find out that this rats just got my with $72.21…i called my bank (wells fargo) and they say that they cant’t file a complaint because it was on the term and conditions well if thats what they say also on the term and conditions said that if you cancel and returnt the material “cd” they will give a full refund of your money…..so good luck with this scam ald plz keep posting any info about this rats plz !!!
