I have a large 2 story home that is a pain to keep warm.....got a heated mattress pad for mother's day last year and I raved about it to ALL my friends!!! My kids all got one for presents too. Now everyone is toasty warm all night and the furnace doesn't run so much. Well worth the money you'll save it over and over by reducing your heat costs. Automatic shut offs are a must though!!!
