Much like SurveySavvy, the LightSpeed Panel actually pays it’s members for filling out surveys and giving their opinions. You won’t have to complete a number of “sponsor offers” in order to get a chance at winning a prize. You give your opinion and you get rewarded for it.
I’ve been a member for a little over two years now and I’ve cashed out over $250 in rewards. They have a wide range of survey options ranging from video games to cars to toothpaste. There is something for everyone (even for Joe who couldn’t qualify to take a survey if his life depended on it).
Frequent Surveys
In all honesty, I received an email halfway through writing this post inviting me to take another survey. It took me about 20 minutes to complete and I was awarded 300 points. The LightSpeed Panel sends about two survey invitations to me each week on average. Even when there aren’t any surveys to fill out, there are questionnaires to help improve your profile so you will qualify for more surveys. With every survey and questionnaire you complete, you will also receive an entry into the current month’s $5,000 drawing.
From Points to Rewards
At the end of each survey, your account will be credited a number of points. These points range from 75 to 1000+ per survey. A point roughly translates to one cent, meaning you’ll be paid in the range of $.75 to $10 for completing a survey. Once you have accumulated enough points, you can cash them in at the Rewards zone for tangible objects, gift cards, or paypal credit.

Thanks Steve! I joined multiple survey sites through fairytaletreasures and my referrer did tell me that she earns some money from completing surveys through various survey sites. I’ve always wanted to try out those survey sites but never had time and also worried about false surveys. I will respond to my LightSpeed e-mails from now on. I tried two surveys today on it and of course, like many other surveys I tried, I got kicked out after the first couple questions. I’ll keep trying. Thanks again!
I have been taking surveys online for almost a year now and I have made thousands of dollars so far and counting. The key is to sign up for as many of the good ones as you can. The best ones are the sites that pay well and send surveys consistently.

So what is the deal with lightspeedpanel and the Walmart/Moneygram/ChaseBank and fake $1700 checks? I got two of these fakes in the mail this week (they look pretty real too) and my banker strongly suggests that they go to his Fraud Dept. I also read a lot of scam warnings on the web about this exact thing. If lightspeedpanel is so honest, why the fraud from Canada (this is where the checks came from.) I personally think that the little money they send you for small surveys is just to “bait the hook” to get you to take the bigger hook of laundering fake checks for them at your bank (you get to take the fall then.)
I’ve been a member of e-rewards (e-rewards.com) for several years and have actually funded a college savings account with the earnings. Surveys don’t come along that often, but they tend to be fairly lucrative when they do. They don’t seem to automatically accept anyone who applies…Steve, you might qualify, but I don’t know about Joe!!!!!!
You’re probably right, Steve. I couldn’t qualify for a survey if I offered to pay THEM.
Great article.I like surveys.That is the best opportunity for make cash online.The problem is that some of these sites are scams, so you’ll have to join legitimate survey sites.
I like LightSpeed Panel, while however not the best Survey Site I,ve made $15 in amazon gift cards and Paypal from Lightspeed.
Lightspeed does pay, they are a legit survey panel.

I called because I was sent two checks in the mail saying I won for taking a moneygram survey, when I asked the man who I called what to do he told me to go to my bank cash it and then call him, I then asked him if I could read off the internet about this lightspeed panel and quoted that the checks were fraudulant and from canada and another man was told to contact fraud department and he instantly hung up on me. Once I said your are a fraud he hung up. I gave him the wrong bank and everything. No personal info. This shit is a scam. They will screw you over. Do not take the bait! I personally find it quite cruel to offer money to people saying they won money when they are very poor and cant even buy groceries. Its like hope and then its smashed. These con artists should go to jail. Dont respond to a man called Mike Daddy.
have not received my money to my pay pal account why? i have reedeemed 1150 points on 9/23/09 and 1150 points on 11/30/09 and and have yet to get my cash.
Don’t waste your time on Lightspeed Panel. They offer you surveys and after you have answered the first 10 questions, you suddenly get the message “We’re sorry, but unfortunately you don’t qualify for this survey”. So, they get their feedback and information, but never have to “pay out” because of this.
Also, another thing. Keep in mind that positive, reassuring comments regarding survey panels in threads like these, can have been posted by the Panels themselves.

i spend 45 min plus and answer all questions on survey,survey#24025, and after that i dont qualify for the 400 points. come on. im starting to believe you are working a scam. i want my 400 points or my husband,whom is unemployed will spend all his time trying to get ur site shut down,at the very least telling everybody that reads what a joke your site is. i am so amazed at what has happened here. he told me your site was one of the better survey sites, but after this experience he has decided to spend his time, tring to bring lightspeed the grief he is feeling to you as well. dont be a ripe off. dyanne k
