This week was a little slow for us at I’ve Tried That. I was away on vacation and we had Snoskred appear as a guest blogger. She was a big help and I hope to see her write for us again.

Week in Review

Snoskred kicked off the week with a beautiful post outlining fake check scams and scambaiting. It is a must-read that could save you thousands of dollars.

Joe took a look at a new scam that’s been popping up lately. It’s called the Global Trade Company and they are looking for ‘employees’ to process checks. Yea, total crap. That’s why we sent Richard Williams to handle this one.

Around the Web

Hey everybody, I fell for this scam too. But when I realized it was a scam I emailed her private web site and told her I anted my money back. I even told her I was not waiting 3 to 5 days for her to put it back in my paypal account. I said she didn’t wait 3 to 5 days to take it. I told her the next call from me would be from my lawyer. I did talk to someone out there too, and told them the same thing. Well, maybe I was lucky, but I got my $197 put back in my paypl that same day. It was about half an hour after I told her I was going to talk to my lawyer. So if ny of you want her personal private email, let me know and I will look it up and send it on here to you…….Dave
