Contest: Win a Free Entertainment Book!
In an effort to stir up some discussion and interest in I’ve Tried That, we’ve decided to throw a little contest with a couple of prizes for our winners. The contest is simple: be a top commentator for the month of July and you’ll automatically be entered to win one of two free Entertainment books. There are ten spots on the top commentators list, which can be found on the right sidebar, and we will randomly draw two numbers from a hat on August 1st to announce the winners.
The Entertainment Book is a collection of various coupons and discounts specifically suited to the area around where you live. They boast an average of $15,000 in savings per location. Not too shabby. You could say we are giving away $30,000 in prizes, but I’ll be a bit more humble and tell you we’re only giving away $60 in coupon books. Be sure to read the Entertainment Book Review by Joe for a better feel of what they have to offer.
We reserve the right to delete any comments at our discretion. Excessive spamming will result in a disqualification. If you purchase the Entertainment Book from our website between now and the end of the contest, contact us before the end of the contest and we will refund the cost of the book if you win. If you would like to comment but don’t want to enter the contest, email either Joe or Steve and we’ll remove your name from entering.

Great idea for a contest, and this whole talk of giving away $30,000 is quite interesting. Wait, what?
thanks, Matt. That’s exactly the reaction the talk of giving away $30,000 in prizes was supposed to provoke. If you haven’t already, read my review of Entertainment books to see what Steve’s getting at.
Count me in!
I want it! I have 3 kids this would be sooooooooooo nice have!!
Oh boy! Oh boy! Sure wish it would be my lucky day and win the contest!!! Lucky stars, fall on me…please…please…
Great idea guys.My ex’s father had originally started the restaurant end of the entertainment book.At the beginnings of it all there were 2 one for restaurants and one for everything else. Eventually his dad sold the rights for the restuarants to make it one big wonderful book.
Its been a long time since I’ve had one so good luck to me.
This sounds like a neat contest. I have children myself and I have had the books in the past and they helped out alot. So good luck to everyone in this contest!!
Thanks, Alysa. Good luck to you, too.
Great idea, consider me in!
Let me tell you after being out of work for 3 months after my accident and trying to get back on track I cant remember the last time I went out to do anything(no joke). What a life saver this could be. The downfall….I keep thinking of my ex…LOL
Why would the book make you think of your ex? Take a friend along and laugh your ex right out of your hair…or something. Good luck, Janice.
If you read my prior post my exs father started the restaurant end of the book. Its not a horrible thing we got along well I just didn’t approve of him being a pothead. I had small kids and I always practiced what I preached. Believe me I am always laughing my head off.
Oh, right. Sorry–I did read your earlier posts but just didn’t make the connection when you commented again yesterday.
Sounds like your doing as good as me…LOL Always good hearing from you though.
Sounds very interesting. I shall take a look around.
I could use one of those! Now if only I could get it for free! I agree if they are used they are a great source of cheapies and freebies. Trick is I have to get one and use it!! I’ll be glad to take one of yours!
