Marion - The check is an actual cashiers check and looks perfectly real. I was nervous about gettin g something for nothing so I took it to my bank to verify it but sure enough, it was a forgery. It is easy to get scammed when your hurting for money!! lol

I just got in and checked my mail and was amazed to find this big fat check, $2180 which I can surely use right about now. It just so amazing to have a check to be mailed to you in an envelope with no return address. After reading the enclosed instructions to be a customer service evaluator and the pay that come with it, sounded too good to be true. I decided to do my research and shonuff it is bogus. I contacted the bank to make sure that indeed that it was a legit cashier's check, after being placed on hold for about 10 minutes, the verdict came back fraudulent. The account is a cashier's account but no funds or deposit have been made to the account. So, you know what that means that if I would of cash this check I will be sitting in somebody jail and with times so hard right now and no job. I thank God for wise and knowledgable decisions. In spite of my situation that I am dealing with financially this is not the method to bring me out. Lord I thank you. **** Do not cash the check if you do you are stuck with excessive fees from your bank**** You are making the crooks who came up with this scam rich..

There is no "KIM". They do research to steal money from honest people. I do research to put them away. Done deal.

i too am a victim of being scammed with these fake websites and fake money orders/checks. Recently I received multiple money orders all amounting to a lot of money and quickly I began to think "something just isn't right." UNFORTUNATELY I fell for the "first assignment" (oh I got involved with a "mystery shopper" scam) because everything seemed ok and sounded legit. I was told to deposit the money order into my account then "keep" $400 as compensation for my work and then take the rest ($510) and make a money transfer at a western union outlet as part of the assignment....well I only wish I would've stumbled upon this website BEFORE making that trip to my bank because then I would've known better than to do as I was told. Sure enough, the money order was a fraud and the bank ended up taking that money ($910 + $20 + $15) out from MY ACCOUNT because suddenly I had become liable for this fake check. Little did I know, all along I thought I WAS GETTING PAID...when in fact I was LOSING my money. Now, today I went to the bank with another check that I received in the mail with instructions for "another assignment" (not to make a deposit--fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you) just to get the banks opinion on what they think is going on and surprise surprise, they told me something is definitely not right. So I DIDN'T make the deposit and instead I came home and emailed the person that's been sending me the emails with assignment information asking them and as respectfully as I could, telling them to EFF off. Now get this, USUALLY it doesn't take more than a few hours for any one of them (whoever is behind all of this crap) to reply to my emails but all day....i haven't received ANYTHING from any one of them. While I really DO want to cut all ties with these people...I can't help but get frustrated every time I think about the money that I lost. So, I can't help but hope that SOMEONE will reply and give me a reason to strike back with SOMETHING to try to get my money back--i know this is all wishful thinking and telling from all the responses i've read on this page that money is as good as gone...but is there REALLY NOTHING we can do? obviously the cops aren't doing much and none of us really seem to have any way of getting any answers from the scammers so...really, is this is? If anyone knows what I could do--please please please let me know. and if you are just an innocent person that came across this page to see if such websites about getting paid for surveys and what not is trustworthy---IT'S NOT. so do NOT fall for it. PLEASE!
